Hair Accessories

This is a 'Caul' much like the modern day hair net.
They were usually accessorised with pearls or jewels.

This is a 'French Hood' these were much like the
modern day 'Alice band' but they came down the sides onto the face

This is an 'Attifet' it is a similar accessory to the 'French Hood'
except  it has a 'heart-like' shape to it at the front.

This is an Elizabethan 'Pillbox' hat. this is a small,
oval shaped hat that sits on the top of the head.

This is called a 'Coif' similar to a bonnet, however it is made
from cloth and, in some cases, has a trail down the back.
